Paul Eric Showalter

     Paul Eric Showalter, 58, of Bartonville, passed away at 10:04 p.m on Monday, July 17, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
     A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be at noon on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. Pastor Craig Hislope will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
     Paul was born on December 30, 1958 in Pekin, a son of Clyde and Mary (Stovall) Showalter. He married Rhonda Jo Ross on July 21, 2001 in Niagara Falls, NY. She survives.
     He is also survived by his children, Dustin Showalter of Peoria and Logan Showalter of Bartonville; step-daughter, Kelsey (Matthew) Aitken of Peoria; siblings, Clyde (Rita), Jr. of Boyton Beach, FL, Joy Andrews of Chehalis, WA, Jim (Sharon) of St. Charles, MO, Bill (Bonnie) of Martinsburg, WV, Mike (Pam) of Bartonville, Mark (Tina) and Lynne (Troy Riekena) Wenzel, both of Peoria; granddaughter, Addison Showalter; and many nieces and nephews, along with an extended family of close friends.
     Paul worked at the Civic Center for the past ten years as a business agent for Local 193 – I.A.T.S.E. He previously worked for over ten years at All Type Heating and Cooling in Mapleton.
     Memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s memory to the college fund for his son, Logan, at CEFCU.
